Bandipora, April 01 (KNO) : Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference (NC) Vice-president Omar Abdullah on Monday reiterated that the party will abolish Public Safety Act (PSA) if it is voted to power with a majority in upcoming assembly elections. Addressing an election rally in Block office at Bandipora area of North Kashmir's district, Omar as per KNO Correspondent said that “the day National Conference (NC) forms its government on its own, God willing in 2019, within days, I will repeal PSA.” He father added that he will also blot it out from the papers forever so that nobody afetr him can book anyone under the act. He said that National Conference will never give up its demand of reversing the erosions in Article 370 and will keep striving for the restoration of Internal Autonomy in Jammu and Kashmir. Omar also said that they have to first win the hearts of Kashmiris because the erstwhile PDP-BJP bonhomie has failed to do so, therefore, “there is a huge gap between Delhi and Kashmir and we will try to fill it first.” (KNO)
